What is the current edition? When will a new edition be released?

The current edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation is the 22nd Edition, released in May 2025. The ISBN is 979-8-218-57457-4. New editions are released every five years. We expect to release the 23rd Edition in 2030.

We make minor updates like typo corrections and line edits in intra-edition printings, and those updates are reflected online.
